How to make your Soupercharger

Using tried and tested ancient Chinese medicine principles, the Eastern botanicals in our custom blends enhance the energetics and function of the targeted organs to achieve desired affect, while improving digestive efficiency and overall health.

INGREDIENTS

1 whole free range chicken*

2 carrots, roughly chopped

1 brown onion, skin on roughly chopped

3 celery sticks, roughly chopped

Small bunch of parsley

A thumb size piece of fresh ginger, crushed with flat end of knife

2 Spring onion whites

1 tsp apple cider vinegar*

Himalayan salt

Filtered water to cover and then some approx. 4Lt

* Omit chicken if plant based, increase carrots to 3, and add any combination of the following: corn, fennel, shiitake mushroom, small strip of kombu or wakame, bay leaf, peppercorns, garlic.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Sweat the vegetables in a swirl of olive oil until golden and glossy.

  2. Add the chicken (if using) and lightly brown.

  3. Add water, 1 packet of Souper Charge and culinary herbs, bring to boil, then reduce heat to gently simmer for at least 2 hours with lid slightly ajar.

  4. Skim top occasionally.

  5. Season to taste.
